KWC hosted the Kilcooley Health Improvement Partnership in their Queen B Cafe at Kilcooley Square.

This consortia brings together a range of health and wellbeing providers, statutory agencies, community and voluntary sector and local schools to address deep rooted health inequalities in the area.

Partners include:

• Kilcooley Primary
• Bangor Alternatives
• Public Health Agency
• South Eastern Trust
• NI Housing Executive
• Bangor Social Supermarket.
• Kilcooley Community Forum

Annually, the group produces a health audit, which is held in full consultation with the local community, using co-design methodology.  Additionally we coordinate a wellbeing fair and regular information sessions and workshops.
