SONGBIRDS - COMMUNITY CHOIR FOR WELLBEING

SONGBIRDS – Community Choir for Wellbeing

Joining a choir offers significant benefits for well-being, both mentally and physically. Engaging in group singing creates a sense of community and belonging, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. The act of singing itself releases endorphins, which can boost mood and alleviate stress. Choir members often experience improved mental clarity and emotional expression through music, enhancing overall mental health. Furthermore, participating in regular rehearsals and performances can instill a sense of routine and achievement, promoting a positive outlook on life. The shared experience of creating harmony with others not only nurtures social connections but also encourages personal growth and resilience, making choir participation a powerful tool for holistic well-being.

Songbirds meets at 1 Kilcooley Square every Friday 10am – 12 Noon.  Song, snacks and chat !  Why not come along !
