Introducing Our Community Fridge: Supporting the Community, Reducing Waste

Many of you are familiar with our social supermarket member scheme but did you know about our Community Fridge? An initiative designed to support individuals and families while promoting sustainability. Located at 1 Kilcooley Square, Bangor, the Community Fridge is open to all every Thursday from 10am to 2pm.

This welcoming space offers a range of free items, including fresh and frozen food as well as essential sanitary products, ensuring everyone has access to the basics they need. Open to all, the Community Fridge is a great way to reduce food waste and develop a sense of community.
