KWC Distributes support to families Christmas Dinners

KWC following a successful application to the Ards and North Down Borough Council Hardship Fund, were pleased to to bring festive cheer to the community. With the support of the council’s fund, Kilcooley Women’s Centre has procured turkeys that were distributed to clients of the social supermarket.The successful application to the Hardship Fund reflects Kilcooley Women’s Centre’s commitment to addressing the needs of the community, particularly during the holiday season. The turkeys and accompanying Christmas dinner ingredients aimed to bring comfort and joy to individuals and families facing economic challenges.“We are grateful for the support from the Ards and North Down Borough Council Hardship Fund, which has allowed us to extend a helping hand to those in our community who may be experiencing difficulties during this festive season,” said Alison Blayney, CEO at Kilcooley Women’s Centre.
