Join Us Tuesday afternoon’s at Square One in Kilcooley Square for this exciting project.
Explore belonging through creativity! Kilcooley Women’s Centre are partnering with The National Trust at Mount Stewart, The Link in Newtownards, Queen’s University Belfast and ArtsEkta to run a programme from November to June. Each week you will work with the project co-ordinator Lisa, to explore what belonging means to us and how we feel connected to place. We will do this by visiting Mount Stewart, exploring the heritage and stories of the house and grounds and taking part in creative activities. Participants in this project get to choose which parts of the heritage they are interested in and what creative activities they would like to do (as long as it’s within the budget!) to help them feel connected to place and to each other. With everything we learn and discover, we will create an exhibition together.
There are limited places available, materials will be provided, a great space to explore connection to Heritage.
