Kilcooley Women’s Centre is a key provider of training, health awareness, childcare, and young women’s activities, leading community-based education in the area. We are inviting applications to the temporary part-time lecturer register in the areas listed below, providing an opportunity for suitably qualified and skilled individuals to assist in the delivery of part-time courses.

Essential Skills

  • Literacy Tutor: Empower individuals with essential reading and writing skills.
  • Numeracy Tutor: Help learners develop fundamental mathematical abilities.
  • ICT Tutor: Guide students in mastering basic computer and information technology skills.
  • ESOL Tutor: Teach English to speakers of other languages. 

Specialised Skills

  • Self-Defence Tutor: Teach self-defence techniques and promote personal safety.
  • Basic DIY Skills Tutor: Equip women with practical skills for home maintenance and improvement.
  • Yoga/Fitness Instructor: Inspire and lead fitness workshops in yoga and other fitness activities.

Vocational Skills

  • Barista Training Tutor: Share your expertise in coffee-making and barista skills.
  • Fashion/Textile Design tutor: Inspire and guide students in fashion design

Arts & Crafts

  • Macrame, Crochet, Knitting, Embroidery Tutor: Pass on your knowledge of textile arts.
  • Jewellery Making Tutor: Teach the art of creating beautiful and unique jewellery pieces.
  • Ceramics Tutor: Guide students in the craft of pottery and ceramics.

Please state which curriculum area you are applying to, your experience in delivering training courses/classes, the accreditation process, and the cost per hour for delivery. If you are quoting for a full day or half day, please indicate the hours which constitute full/half days training for evaluation. Your application should clearly state your hourly rate to comply with the tender specification.

Social Supermarket Team Colleague (PT)

As a Team Colleague, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of community-based programmes focused on food security and tackling poverty and disadvantage, responsibilities include stock co-ordination/rotation, retail duties, supporting supermarket members and linking with team colleagues and facilitators supporting the social supermarket wrap around support programme. If you have excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, a creative approach to community retail, and a commitment to community engagement, we encourage you to apply. Jobs - Part-Time Lecturers

We are Looking for a Self-Employed Tutor - Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

Position Type: Part-Time (Evenings)
Weekly Hours: 4 hours (Teaching) + Preparation, Assessing, and Standardisation activities

Kilcooley Women’s Centre is a key provider of training, health awareness, childcare and young women’s activities and leads on community-based education in the area.  We are inviting applications to the temporary part-time lecturer register in the areas listed below, providing an opportunity for suitably qualified and skilled individuals to assist in the delivery of part-time courses. 

Applicants can work during the day and /or evening. If you are interested in playing a key role in the growth and development of Kilcooley Women’s Centre, the closing date for receipt of applications is not later than 12 noon on 25th July  2023.

Invitation to tender is based on price per hour (in order cost per session can be calculated to comply with tender specification).  This should be clearly evident in your CV, quoting your hourly rate.  

**There is no guaranteed number of sessions nor level of work for responders. **
