Kilcooley Women’s Centre (KWC), Bangor
Kilcooley Women’s Centre is delighted to invite applications for the role of Finance and Administration Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, community-led organisation that delivers meaningful projects supporting women, families and communities across the borough.
This is a secure, funded post until December 2027, offering the chance to play a vital role in the smooth running of KWC’s projects and services. You will work closely with the Finance Manager, Project Coordinators and wider staff team, contributing to projects that make a real difference at grassroots level.
About the Role
The Administration Officer will provide comprehensive financial and administrative support across KWC projects. This is a pivotal position within the organisation, ideal for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team in a busy community setting.
The role combines finance administration, reporting, event support and general office administration, with opportunities to engage across multiple KWC sites.
Key Details
Job Title: Administration Officer
Location: Kilcooley Women’s Centre, Bangor (travel across KWC sites required)
Salary: NJC Point Scale 4
Hours: 28 hours per week, Monday–Friday (flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends required)
Contract: Fixed-term until December 2027 (subject to 3-month probation)
Holidays: 25 days per year plus statutory holidays
Start Date: 1 March 2026
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing efficient financial processing and administration support
Preparing financial reports and grant claims
Supporting audits and end-of-year accounts
Maintaining accurate financial and project records
Assisting with meetings, events and project administration
Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries and signposting

Job Title: Project Manager
Role Summary
The Project Manager will plan, manage, and deliver a two-year, funded community and programme, working closely with internal teams, delivery partners, and participants. The role combines project coordination, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and hands-on delivery, alongside monitoring, evaluation, and reporting against funder outcomes.
This programme will engage participants through activities including workshops, accredited learning, and community events.
About You
You have at least 2 years’ experience managing and delivering community or engagement-based projects. You’re organised, confident working with diverse groups, comfortable juggling delivery and admin, and able to build strong partnerships. Strong communication skills and competence in Microsoft 365 are essential. A third-level qualification (or equivalent experience) is expected.

Kilcooley Women’s Centre is a key provider of training, health awareness, childcare, and young women’s activities, leading community-based education in the area. We are inviting applications to the temporary part-time lecturer register in the Childcare Sector, providing an opportunity for suitably qualified and skilled individuals to assist in the delivery of part-time courses.
