The KWC Social Enterprise Development Team today launched the Kilcooley Community Cafe Business Plan.
Building on the success of the Bangor Social Supermarket, based at the KWC centre at 1 Kilcooley Square, the proposal will develop a community cafe, complete with full Barista Bar, training cafe, community events such as themed Afternoon Teas and get together seasonal meals, cooking demonstrations and menopause cafe.
The highlight of the cafe will be delicious barista style speciality coffees, tempting teas, and a relaxing space to meet friends, get advice or simply connect with the community.
Supported by NI Housing Executive, the project will evolve over the coming months, as we link with new suppliers and supporters to create a unique space in the area designed to support community, love coffee and create opportunities to enhance social value.
