Exploring the Role of Women through the years in Peace Building Programme
Are you interested in building confidence, sharing your voice and connecting with other women?
We are recruiting 25 women to take part in an exciting programme exploring women’s leadership, history and peacebuilding.
What’s involved?
Over the course of the programme, you will:
- Take part in interactive workshops
- Attend inspiring speaker events
- Explore women’s roles in history, leadership and peacebuilding
- Learn about Good Relations and shared experiences
- Develop storytelling and communication skills
- Connect with women from different communities and backgrounds
Be part of something meaningful
Participants will:
- Contribute to real stories and case studies
- Take part in video and photography projects
- Help shape a final showcase event
- Be part of a lasting legacy project
Commitment
- Approx. 15 hours across the programme
- Mixture of workshops, events and networking
- Supportive, welcoming environment
Who is it for?
We welcome women:
- Aged 16+
- From urban and rural areas of Ards & North Down
- From all backgrounds and experiences
- Who are interested in learning, sharing and connecting
